Birmingham's Bad Money has returned with their shimmering new single "Loud", the new cut acts as their second song of 2021 following on from "Blueprints". The latest single was laid down in the 2nd UK National Lockdown in the second half of 2020.
With love from BBC Music and a handful of Spotify Playlists already the quartet sounds like they're gearing up for big things. When you consider they wrote, recorded, produced, and mastered it all you really have to give them one big pat on the back, as it's a smoothly put-together song.
The new single is a vibrant affair with some RnB tones throughout down to the funky piano keys, horns, and bassline. However, there is a delicious alt-pop undertone to it all with it driving the track forwards and giving it that bright tone.
The song was written about their friend who sadly passed away, but it's not a song mourning her rather it's a song that celebrated her life and her positive outlook. So go head over to their Spotify and check it out!
