Giant and the Georges unveil sun-kissed new single "Sunflower Girl"

Hailing from the West Midlands in the heart of the UK we have Giant and the Georges.  The four-piece today have revealed their sun-kissed new single "Sunflower Girl", which is the sixth single the band has released since their inception back in 2018.

It's a delightful indie-pop track that can easily find it's way into your feel-good playlists.

There's plenty going for it, with some reverb-laden guitars draped over a crisp back-line the track also features some gentle ukelele parts, which is the first time I've heard a uke used to good effect in an indie-pop track in ages.

The harmonies on the vocals are just a pure delight, with the oohs and aahs adding to the slightly haunting atmosphere. However, once they fade out away we're treated to a delightful guitar solo that reminds me of the mid 00's. It's a delightful indie-pop track that can easily find it's way into your feel-good playlists.

When the band headed back into the studio to focus on their sound they didn't know what they'd sound like at first, but after hearing "Sunflower Kiss" I feel like they've found their sound. So do check out Giant and the Georges' latest offering as we think there's lots more to come from the rising quartet.
