Belfast singer-songwriter Lemonade Shoelace has today released his spacey new single "Autopilot Paradise". The new single is Ruairí's (aka Lemon Shoelace) debut single and it heralds the start of a brilliant career for the musician.
Lemonade Shoelace sounds like he's going to be one of the next big acts to come out of Northern Ireland!
The influences you can hear in abundance here are Tame Impala and Flaming Lips, with the former being the biggest of the two as there's a lot of striking comparisons between Ruairí and Kevin Parker. Both like to take control of their music, write and sing everything as well as performing all instrumentation.
The synthy cut is a delicious taste of what's to come from the Belfast resident, with a debut EP currently in the mixing stages too it will not be long before we have more shimmering music from one of Belfast's most promising synth acts.
