Morning Crush reveals moody new track "Peaceful Mind"

Bursting onto the scene in 2019, Morning Crush has been working hard at refining his sound and has recently released his second single of 2021 following on from the previous cut, "Australian Sun".

Morning Crush is a solo project of Tim Ostrowsky-Thomas and he has previously got the attention of BBC 6 Music and Channel 4 from previous projects, with even Frank Turner loving what he's currently doing too.

However, the latest cut is a melting pot of British artists, with some Brit-Pop guitars laced over crashing drums. There is a big James and REM vibe throughout this moody track and when you're listening you feel captivated by Tim's commanding vocals.

Speaking about the track he mentions - "I wrote this track as a brutally honest look at anxiety and depression from my perspective. It was originally written out of frustration at how mainstream tv shows and songs tend to glamourise this sickness. I've wanted to tell my side of the story for a long time and I'm hoping people can relate to it."

With four tracks to his name on Spotify now the stats are steadily climbing, and with this new moody cut, it'll be not too long before you find his music working its way into your playlists.
