Manchester's The Deep Blue have today released their power-pop and anthemic new tune "Jealous Sea", which is the outfit's first-ever. Yes, that's right everyone we have a debut track working its way into our ears.
There are not too many more joys in the world we love most than finding a new band, one that we like the sound of, and especially their debut release too.
So what do we have here then, well we've got a trio of vocal harmonies that are prominent throughout the track, backing that up is some delicate and yet distorted guitar tones (both acoustic and electric) helping to give the track some vibrance.
The subtle use of the keyboards sets the tone of the song, with the bright twinkles shining through from start to finish. It's going to easily find its way into your Summer playlists, we can feel it. The best thing about this act is that there are lots of bands releasing music, but they're not too many more joys in the world we love most than finding a new band, one that we like the sound of, and especially their debut release too.
Having already got some shows in Liverpool Sound City lined up the future is literally ahead of them, and once again for a debut these three have pulled off something worth playing over and again.
