London singer-songwriter Dan Pye has returned with his last single of 2021, "Following the Dao". The single is actually his second ever release, but from listening to it you'd have thought that he's headlined a whole UK tour by now, such as the quality of it.
The track acts as the second teaser to his debut EP "Funny Way of Dying Kid" and once again gives us those sweet alt-pop vibes mixed in with some psychedelic nods, and lots of smooth melodies that'll have any alt-pop fan swooning over the track in no time.
Within "Following the Dao" there are some subtle elements we love, the guitars and the haunting vocals just round off the track perfectly and ultimately gives the listener something else to tune in for.
