Luke Jones returns with "A Consequence Of Divinty"

North Welsh singer-songwriter Luke Jones has returned with his brand new single "A Consequence Of Divinity", which marks his first release of 2022 after his sole 2021 single, "Yeah, She Was Cool".

The single is one of those inoffensive indie-pop anthems with plenty of fuzz and warmth. It's not just in the guitars where the warmth is, Luke's vocals are so smooth they feel like caramel in your ears. If you imagine a blend of Matty from The 1975 and Alfie Templeman's voices together then this is what Luke sounds like here.

Carrying from The 1975 comparison, the approach and production values in the single are up there with the Manchester based band and honestly sounds like something they could've written! Since the release of this track, he's only gone and dropped another newbie, "PaperRouteFrank".

As per his previous releases, Luke has played all of the instruments on his own and wrote the song, but this time the producer behind the desk is Russ Hayes at Orange Sound Studios - the very same place where Catfish and the Bottlemen Recorded all of their early tunes.

Be sure to keep an eye out for nrw music as an EP is planned to be dropping for May 2022
