Young Astronaut reveals pulsating new single, "Hope"

Rising London quartet Young Astronaut just yesterday revealed their pulsating new single, "Hope". The new single is lifted off their forthcoming EP, "Pirouette & Fall". It's also their first release since the success of their 2017 album "A Gold Frontier" and gives their fans a new flavour of what's to come.

Going from folk to rock this band are no slouches when it comes to switching up their sound, and all the while keeping their music at a high quality, having formed back in 2012 they've since performed at all of the highly regarded venues London has to offer - as well as touring extensively over the UK.

So, the new single "Hope" is an expansive track with thick synthesisers being prominent throughout, blended in are drops of guitars here and there ensuring that their long-time fans are not left out. The deep synth tones remind me a bit of Bloc Party's "Flux", however, this song has a lot more substance to it.

Think Future Islands mixed in with Coldplay melodies and the production values of Cold Cave, they've sounded like they've gone all out on this song, and it blows you away once the track fades away.

With love from BBC 6 Music, BBC Introducing and getting played on-air on national radio in Canada they are one of the under the radar bands you seriously need to check out.
