New York City's The Dionysus Effect have returned with their second song ever, "Darryl", which follows on from the breakout debut cut "Stars". "Darryl" is one of those rip-roaring tracks that are full of attitude from the get-go. The single has lots of swagger, from the commanding vocals right down to the soaring guitars and drum fills.
When the chorus comes in it feels that you've been taken back to the early 90s grunge scene, with some metal moments leading up to it.
