Vancoiver's Carbon Mass late last month shared their incredibly atmospheric new single "Problem With Time". The new track acts as the duo's second release of the year following on from the strong release "5 Year Plan".
The new single is a huge step in the right direction as it fuses a few genres together to create some amazingly atmospheric sounds mixed in with angelic synth-pop. Vocally the music reminds me of peak 1980s synth-pop mixed in with alt-electro vibes of Grimes and Tove Lo.
Instrumentally it's a vibrant affair with guitars and organic drum betas being heard throughout too. If you're into your dream-pop with a dash of synths and guitars then Carbon Mass's new track is the drug you need, and yes drug - it's so addicting!
