Newcastle's Cat Ryan has returned with their first song since 2020, the pretty damn strong new tune, "Rex Mundi". With a year out from releasing music the band focused on their live shows, but now sees the first tune (of hopefully many). It's an incredibly catchy indie-pop song with lots of synthy elements, fantastic vocal hooks and thick as treacle basslines licking your inner ears.
