Rising Kent quartet Faded Shades have sensationally returned with their charismatic new single, "Waiting on Tomorrow". After 2021's "Second Guessing" it sounds like the foursome is making even bigger tracks by the sound of things.
The vocals especially on "Waiting on Tomorrow" remind me of the warm vocal tones you hear in Americana and Country style music, something you wouldn't think of in a band from Kent. The guitar tones also reflect the vocals, as they're just glowing throughout and gives the track a pleasant heat that makes you think of the summer.
You can tell the band has been listening to some Tom Petty, Haim and even some Bob Dylan can be heard here. It is a melting pot of genres and is one of those guitar lead tracks that you'll just love from the get-go.
