Lizzie Esau shares her big new single, "The Enemy"

Lizzie Esau today releases her brand new single, "The Enemy". The track is her second of the year following on from the highly praised single "Shade of Green" which was picked up by BBC Introducing and BBC Radio Newcastle.

So, the new cut, it's just a lick over three minutes of melodic indie rock with some thick and chunky guitar riffs commanding the track throughout. Her vocals here are on top form, and with the reverb laced on them, it reminds me of Wolf Alice's Ellie Rowsell in places mixed in with the attitude of  Izzy Baxter Phillips of Black Honey.

What "The Enemy" presents to us is an artist who sounds like she wants to headline Reading & Leeds festivals in the next few years, she's got the talent, she's got the tunes - so click play and enjoy the heck out of it!
