Last week saw the release off Silver Lake video for their latest single, "Beaches", and as the thumbnail suggests it is a sun-kissed and sepia tinted visual that truly compliments the dream-pop cut.
regarding the song itself it is a beautiful slice of dream-pop that reminds us of the bets bits of Fleetwood mac mixed in with Best Coast guitar tones and vocal hooks that remind us of The Big Moon. "Beaches" is certainly a track you can put on and instantly melt into your sofa with, it relaxes you almost immediately and makes you feel at home, no matter where you find yourself.
Speaking of the song Marleen (vocals) says - "For me, the beach is a place where time seems to stand still, which can be very soothing in a world where you are surrounded by chaos and change. I wanted to make a song that evokes that same feeling in me."
With 3voor12 (one of the biggest radio stations in their country) already picking them up and praising them I doubt it'll take long to take over the country's airwaves. Add in multiple Spotify Editorial playlist placements too and it's a a recipe for big things!
