One of Manchester's finest rising acts, Sleep Walking Animals, has released their moody new tune, "Freedom Song". The new single is their first foray of the year following the release of their well-received self-titled debut EP back in 2021.
Their Alt-Folk tones are even more prominent in this release and certainly sounds like the band has taken a huge stride forwards with how they arrange their composition. It sounds as big as a Coldplay song, as heartwarming as Of Monsters and Men with a smattering of Americana twanging away in the guitars.
