Earlier this month saw Australian outfit Strawberry Swing release their smooth new single "Bennie (Won’t Dance)", and the new tune also features meadowhip on lead vocals, which is a beautiful touch to not just the track but to Strawberry Swing's overall sound.
The song is frantic in places without losing its soft-rock approach, the warm guitar tones balance off with the tender bass lines and give the listener something they can love from the first play. With listening to new acts every day I need to feel at home when listening to new music, and this new track really got me bopping towards the end.
