Velvet Starlings drop crunching new tune, "HG Wells"

Coming right out of Los Angeles in good old California is Velvet Strings and today see's the band drop their crunching new tune, "HG Wells". They come specifically from LA and surrounding 'Beach Cities' in the Southern half of the state. You can tell that the band has been influenced by their surroundings as the single is laden with shimmering tones and sun-kissed elements.

The new offering is a psychedelic tinted surf-pop track, it's got so much swagger throughout and right from the start it has a chunky guitar tone and distorted synth giving you the vibe that they're all about. Vocally it's a thrilling ride too as the singer reminds me a bit of Alex Turner (of Arctic Monkeys) and his direct tones.

No denying that Velvet Strings are a pretty big deal, and if you're in the UK it's good news as they'll be performing shows all over the country very soon! SO hurry t-f up and get all up in their tunes before your mates do!
