Bristol duo Glass Violet today reveals their shimmering new single, "A View From The Vale, which is the outfit's first since 2021's charming retro tinted "Indigo".
Sitting in at a mighty six minutes the track feels anything but long, the opening to the single is very airy and euphoric with some dreamy vocals laced on chugging synth tones. As the track evolves it gains body and mass, when the first chorus comes in you're greeted with incredibly soothing guitar tones that sound like they've been lifted from the 80s.
The track is comparable to that of The 1975's more relaxed tracks, but with more drive behind it - especially in the latter half where the track becomes anthemic. I can easily see a festival tent filled with fans falling in love with this track on the first listen, the finale to the song alone won me over.
So why not listen to Glass Violet's stunning new single "A View From The Vale:" now - and be sure to delve into their previous singles if you love it!
