Following on from their 2022 EP "Sundays in the South" The Thing With Feathers have only gone and released a slick new single, "Don't Break My Heart".
Since the release of that EP the Nashville band has gone on to get well over 200k plays on Spotify alone, and the new track sounds like it's going to add plenty more digits to that by the sound of it.
The Thing With Feathers sound like they're going to be getting synonymous with the phrase 'consistent bangers'
The screeching guitars at the start of the strong reminds me a bit of The Strokes in the mid-2000s and the punk/rock-revival scene. There is a huge drive in this track throughout with tight drumming and ear warming basslines ensuring that you'll be back for more and that's certainly what happened with us - giving this track a handful of plays before writing this (basically we flipping love it).
The Thing With Feathers sound like they're going to be getting synonymous with the phrase 'consistent bangers' - with a huge following already do be sure to get on board with one of the most exciting bands the US has to offer.
