Hailing from Manchester we have Arms & Hearts with his exciting new single, "Kerouac On Minimum Wage". The single is his first release of 2022 and is a re-release of his song from 2020, but to be honest it sounds as fresh as anything else out there.
"Kerouac On Minimum Wage" is very upbeat and has a real danceability about it, reminds me of something Frank Turner would write, especially with his vocals.
With shows performed all over the UK as well as Europe it's great to see that a new artist is being given the chance on stages in multiple countries, but with songs such as this it's no wonder he's been picked to perform.
Speaking about the track Arms & Hearts (aka Josh) mentions - "I wrote this song towards the end of a lengthy (and admittedly poorly planned) tour, in the middle of winter. At the time I was working way too much, for minimum wage, at a job I despised and I was dreading going back to it."
"Kerouac On Minimum Wage" is very upbeat and has a real danceability about it, reminds me of something Frank Turner would write, especially with his vocals. Now if you want more great and upbeat punk infused tracks like this be sure to check out his debut album "The Distance Between".
