Quiet Tongues return with strong new single, "This Water Is Wet"

Sometimes they say the second album (or single in this case) is the difficult one, but what Quiet Tongues have done here is return with their second single and it's the strong new offering, "This Water Is Wet".

The band since their inception have been praised by some of the finest music blogs the world has to offer and got them well over 30,000 plays on Spotify alone. The new tune is a slight throwback to the late 2000s indie-rock scene with some nods to the likes of The Kooks with the vocal hooks and yelps, Bloc Party with the angular guitars and even possibly Foals with how sonic it gets in the latter stages.

The song gives the listener a classic slice of indie-rock to tap their feet and nod their head to in appreciation.

Sitting in at just two and a half minutes long they have the BPM for this one set 'just-so' that you can easily dance to this one in a live setting, even with the frantic moments of drumming it holds itself up and gives the listener a classic slice of indie-rock to tap their feet and nod their head to in appreciation.

If you're a fan of exciting new indie-rock bands then Quiet Tongues are seemingly becoming a bit hitter in the scene within the UK. For me they certainly standout in London as a band to watch, so if you have the chance to see them in the live setting I'd be very jealous!
