Hailing from Devonport, Tasmania in Australis is singer-songwriter Tessa Lee with her second ever single "Could It Be?". The new track follows on from her debut "Warm Orange Glow" and see's an evolution of her sound somewhat.
"Could It Be?" is a slow-paced track that will instantly grab your attention and make you a fan of Tessa Lee - it' simply stunning.
"Could It Be?" leans on Tessa's jazz background with the style of the drums being more chilled out than you'd expect, contrast it with the incredibly warm and bright guitars and your ears are already perked up.
One key element I've not mentioned yet is the vocals and that's why I'm dedicating a whole section of the review to it. Tessa's voice ranges from the smooth and tender tones as heard in the intro - reminding me of David Bowie to some degree with the delivery - and gets even smoother and jazz orientated in the chorus.
"Could It Be?" is a slow-paced track that will instantly grab your attention and make you a fan of Tessa Lee, so do be sure to give it a play in full - it' simply stunning.
