I've Tried Sleeping shares nostalgic new single, "Out Here On Our Own"

I've Tried Sleeping has recently released a batch of singles since the start of September, and one of the best of the quintet of releases is "Out Here On Our Own", which for me reminds me of Manic Street Preachers in places and has a strong 90s alt-rock vibe to it, with some vocal hooks not too far from David Bowie.

The song reminds me of Manic Street Preachers in places and has a strong 90s alt-rock vibe to it, with some vocal hooks not too far from David Bowie.

Hailing from Spokane, WA the band is a five-piece with Charlie Edwards leading the way with his commanding vocals. So, the new track - it's a glorious sound of whirling guitars, subtle synths that have a slightly haunting tone to them and Charlie's ever-present vocals that caress the track.

The track was recorded, produced and mixed all in Spokane keeping it very local to I've Tried Sleeping which is something a lot of artists don't do. You'd be almost forgiven to think this was made in one of the best studios in the UK as it's so flawless.

It's a very upbeat track with plenty of nostalgia if you grew up in the 90s, so do be sure to check out their other tracks on Spotify and keep an eye out for the album when it drops next month.
