R. F. Coleman unveils funky debut single, "I Couldn't Trust"

Australian singer-songwriter R. F. Coleman last week unveiled his incredibly addictive and funky debut single, "I Couldn't Trust", and has since gone on to get 13k plays on Spotify in just over 7 days.

His vocals remind us a bit of Jungle (the UK based act) in the choruses and as they swoon ad croon throughout the song you can't help but get head over heels with it. There are some thick and meaty synth tones flowing throughout and a slight psych-tinted guitar line hidden away in there to give "I Couldn't Trust" some mystery behind it.

... it sounds like he has a great career ahead of him if the songs are this slick, well produced and zesty.

The debut cut was co-written by Joshua Moriarty (of Miami Horror and Telenova) and co-produced by Scott Horscroft (DMA's) so right from the out-set R. F. Coleman is setting the bar high with great collaborators.

Having worked as a writer for multiple media outlets this oddly enough is his first foray into making music, which is odd as it's absolutely amazing for a debut release and it sounds like he has a great career ahead of him if the songs are this slick, well produced and zesty.
