Following on from a string of singles that's helped her gain close to 20k monthly listeners on Spotify, Lissy Taylor is back with her sensational new single, "Fierce". The single was produced by Gareth Nutall (who's worked with the likes of Frank Turner, and The K’s) it's her fifth release of 2022 and by the sound of it she's ending the year on a high.
Instrumentally and vocally this song is so damn strong.
The track opens up with her tender vocals on top of some anthemic guitars and strings - something that Coldplay would be happy to call their own. Vocally Lissy is incredibly strong and captivating, ensuring that you'll be gripped the the whole duration of the song, and by the time the chorus comes you'll be glad that you stuck around, it's so anthemic.
With plenty of UK-based radio stations such as BBC Stoke, Radio X and XS Manchester playing her tunes it's no wonder how she's got such a loyal fanbase.
Speaking about the song she mentions - "I bought a collection of poems written by women titled ‘Fierce’ and thought that I would make ‘Fierce’ my next single title, inspired by women in creative industries, changing the landscape of what has been done before. Inspired by ambition, determination and unwavering self-belief."
