Dear Amber drop commanding new tune, "Roadkill"

Bursting out of the Danish music scene is Copenhagen-based quartet Dear Amber, and on Christmas day saw the band release their commanding new single "Roadkill". The new cut is the first piece of new music since they released their "Sparks Equal Fall" EP came out back in August of 2021, and this acts as a big tease of what's to come from them in 2023.

... if this is a taste of what's to come from them in 2023 then they're onto something big!

If you're a fan of soaring alt-rock guitars and commanding vocals then this is for you. The intro has a very post-britpop vibe about it, something that Oasis would write towards the end of the 2000's. Vocally they remind me of Reef with slight nasally and grungy tones grabbing your attention right from the off.

All of the sounds within the track sounds like they could easily fit into the 1990s and early 2000s,but what they've done is give it a fresh sheen that will have you yearning for more once it's finished. Towards to the end of the track it builds and builds before getting incredibly anthemic, and I tell you what if this is a taste of what's to come from them in 2023 then they're onto something big!

Do be sure to follow them on the socials and Spotify so you don't miss a single thing.
