Points share their urgent new cut, "Steal To Feed"

Based out of Baldock in Hertfordshire is Points with their urgent and atmospheric new tune, "Steal To Feed". The track was produced at the London Road Studios (a place I'm incredibly fond of) and the sound is absolutely huge! A mega sound, we can't wait for more. The new single continues on from their previous single, "Hey", with a slightly industrial take on the alt-rock sounds, with a smattering of new-wave basslines seemingly licking your ears throughout. Vocally it's mighty with the tones ranging from howling to commanding much like how Wu Lyf used to sound and going back further even echoes of early Britpop band Reef (but with more punch). The breakdown around the three-minute mark doesn't give you much respite, but what it does is more or less confirm that the track is a belter of a tune, and is one that you just NEED in your playlists. The swirling nature of the guitars and the raw power of the vocals, damn, we can't wait for more!

SAMSARA. drop their big new tune, "IN TOO DEEP"

Coming out of New York is the brilliant and stunning SAMSARA., and the band have recently dropped their big new tune, "IN TOO DEEP". The quintet have a sound that can rival any of the big alt-rock bands that are currently dominating the worldwide music scene, and based off this track they're going to be the next big guitar band to emerge from NY since the likes of The Strokes and Interpol. ... based off this track they're going to be the next big guitar band to emerge from NY since the likes of The Strokes and Interpol The pacing of the track is great, and even from the get-go there is a somewhat danceable backline that'll no doubt have you tapping your feet. The guitar sounds on "IN TOO DEEP" are so infectious, a blend of post-punk and alt-rock with the perfect amount of fuzz to give it more depth. Vocally strong too, you have to admire this emerging band for the smooth vocal approach to the track and its clean melodies.

KaiserKillers releases the swagger-filled new single, "Honey (One Day in Atlantic City)"

Colchester's KaiserKillers last week released their swagger-filled new single, "Honey (One Day in Atlantic City)". The new single is their second of the year and delves deep into your ears right from the get-go with a strong guitar backed up with warm bass tones. A nostalgic slice of swag-filled rock and roll! Vocally I'm reminded of 80s alt-rock bands such as Squeeze all the way through to modern bands such as Reverend and the Makers, especially with that slightly northern sounding vocal. The track may not be a five-minute epic but what they pack into the two and a half minute runtime is more than enough to get you delving into their older tunes.

Gurry Wurry shares the new tune, "Singin (When The Truck Hit)"

Hailing from Edinburgh, Scotland is singer-songwriter Gurry Wurry and not too long ago he released his brand new album, "Happy For Now", with the key track on the release being "Singin (When The Truck Hit)". It's one of those tracks that'll take you for a wander down a road that'll give you psychedelic moments. "Singin (When The Truck Hit)" is one of those tracks that'll take your ears and brain for a wander down a road that'll give you psychedelic moments. Having previously had his music on BBC 6 Music and even appearing on the Hype Machine Gurry Wurry sounds like one hard-working individual. The track for me is the perfect launch for his album to kick off with, as you've got a wonky and off-kilter piano key flowing throughout your mind, backed up with a jagged guitar licking your ears like a spiky zest. The sounds on offer here will no doubt see you heading into the rest of the album with huge interest, so do yourself a favour and

Loss reveals the new sonic track, "Legacy"

Swedish act Loss has just last month released their third-ever single, "Legacy". Speaking out about the track Loss mentions - "The track is about letting someone go and at the same time letting that person live on, through you." Sonic sounds with plenty of moody elements too! The very alt-pop track kicks things off with a high-sounding synth and expansive drums, with them seemingly acting as the opposite of one another in terms of dark and light sounds. This sets the mood for the track with the main vocals sounding incredibly dreamy, all the while with this moody bassline giving you those late-night alt-pop vibes. Vocally I'd like to say that this track is up there with the very best in the genre, it's almost like the soft tones of Wolf Alice mixed in with the delivery of Blossoms' slower jams. There is so much to unpack in this track, and with that it's got that feel of replay-value - even I found myself repeating this once or twice to fully immers
