Sara De Sanctis reveals moody new single, "Astray"

Coming hot off the heels of her single "Fading" and subsequent remixes that followed, Italian-born singer-songwriter Sara De Sanctis has revealed her dark and smoky new single, "Astray".

Sara is classically trained in piano and of course vocally too, and one thing that hits you almost right away when the track starts is how powerful she is. You're captivated right away, and with the atmospheric tones backing it up it reminds me especially of a James Bond intro theme.
Moody, captivating and long-lasting, Sara De Sanctis always impresses us!

There's incredibly moody guitar lines that reminds of of The Last Shadow Puppets and Americana-Noir mixed in with scattering drum patterns. What Sara has combined here is a few sub-genres and has turned this experiment into one jaw dropping track that will almost have you crying with joy.

Speaking about her career so far Sara mentions - "Even though I chose another path, classical music helped me develop musical thinking and composition methods that I can now use in my own works". Produced by Jacob Bright and mastered by Shawn Joseph (New Order, PJ Harvey and Portishead) the track is out now and is sure to capture the imagination of the listener and push her into the limelight.

Do be sure to check out the B-side to the single too while you're here, it's more chill but equally as stunning.
