London-based outfit yesterday returned with their second-ever single release, "The Girl Who Feels No Pain". The track comes hot off the heels of their November debut single, "Hey, Julia" and sees them step up their game.
Warm and sweet, and very much with a The Beatles approach - they're onto a winner with "The Girl Who Feels No Pain".
If you could think of a tender acoustic lead intro by the likes of Oasis you'd not be too far off what the start of "The Girl Who Feels No Pain" feels like - but with much better vocals. It's not as up-tempo as their previous single, but what it may lack with pace it makes up for with how sweet it feels in your ears.
If you listened to their 'demo' release - titled "Songs 1.0" - on Spotify then this isn't too far from some of the songs on that release. There's no denying that the London band have a bit of a zing about them, and with this new track offering up listeners to hear a more softer side to them I'm sure they'll be getting more followers sooner rather than later!
Mixed and produced once again by Jim Barr of Portishead fame this is a perfect candidate for any Indie lover's playlist, so drop down below and get into Glossy Boy!
