killerwhaletank earlier on this year shared his debut single, "Strange Boy/Another Day", an AA-side single that packs a lot into it's five-minute run time. Hailing from Tottenham in Canada (yes there's one there too for all of you Londoners), he has tones that fans of The White Stripes and Arctic Monkey's would love, with a slight twang.
For a debut single this is pretty slick and launches him into the indie-lovers consciousness, if he keeps on releasing music at this level of quality he'll have a bright future for sure.
The first of the tracks is incredibly upbeat and has a fantastically haunting set of keys behind it giving it plenty of depth, add in the slightly country twangs and the sound you have is rather unique. Much like the first track the second has also got a lot going for it too, it's more of a slower track in terms of BPM but his vocals here are better if you ask me, they just work so much better with those tender guitar tones and saucy basslines.
