Clark Waldron (aka waldon.grooves) recently released his single "Thought Alcove", the single dropped at the tail-end of 2022 and is the first track in over 20 months. The groovy new is one of those six-minute epics that you'll just instantly fall in love with, and as soon as the song kicks off you're welcomed in with twanging guitars and soulful basslines.
"Thought Alcove" is the type of track that can easily slip into your driving playlists, just wait for the sun to come out and whack this one on, and you'll always be smiling!
Vocally what we have here is something more lo-fi than psychedelic, but the tones do straddle both genres. Add in some organic sounds like trickling water and we're won over in a heartbeat.
The San Francisco-based singer-songwriter come multi-instrumentalist is never afraid to mix up the genres a bit and this new single is one of those shimmering tracks that straddles genres and sets out to make its own sound. "Thought Alcove" is the type of track that can easily slip into your driving playlists, just wait for the sun to come out and whack this one on, and you'll always be smiling!
