Night House releases shimmering new single, "Seatbelt"

Brighton-based duo Night House released their shimmering new single, "Seatbelt", this Friday gone. The new offering is Night House's first single since 2020, but the three-year wait sounds like it was well worth the wait.

Right as the track kicks off it's enriched with multiple layers of 80's tinted synths and shimmering electronic noises. Once the vocals come rolling in you take a step back with a stunned face, the voice here sounds so much like Kate Bush we had to double-check the credits.

The lead vocals on the track are from Sophie Ried, and speaking about the collab Night House mentions - "I saw REID performing a blend of poetry, theatre, and songs and was absolutely blown away by her. It was surreal, out there and like nothing else I'd seen... I knew we had to work together"

The new collaboration may even blossom into something bigger, as this somewhat reminds me of when Mansionair featured a new vocalist on one of their tracks, and subsequently went on to become a full band member, and well, the rest is history.

It feels like this is the start of a fantastic new era for Night House, so please do head down below and get in touch with this gorgeous and beautiful slow jam - you won't regret it.
