Árstíðir reveals stunning cover of "Sumemrtime Sadness" by Lana Del Rey

Icelandic legends in the making, Árstíðir, have recently revealed their cover of Lana Del Rey's "Summertime Sadness". The track was released in the dead of winter, and when we say that we mean it as in Iceland they don't get much sun, but that not take away how shimmering this cover it.

Vocally amazing and instrumentally stunning, Árstíðir have done it once again and has given us a shimmering slice of what they're all about.

It's been out for less than a month but has already given them a big boost on the social channels and Spotify too. What's even cooler is that the video is a shot-for-shot remake of the original video from back in 2012.

This cover is yet again another reason to mention Árstíðir in the same sentences of the very best that's come out of Iceland, Of Monsters and Men, Bjork and Sigur Rós for example. Vocally amazing and instrumentally stunning, Árstíðir have done it once again and has given us a shimmering slice of what they're all about.
