Following on from two strong singles back in 2022- "It's a Good Life" and "The Chase" - London-based trio Come at the King return with a fantastic new slice of music in the shape of "Good Bad Influence".
"Good Bad Influence" is the perfect track for Come at the King to showcase what they're all about, delicate tones at first but mixed in later with grunge and nods of britpop.
The new offering has some captivating vocals, especially in the first two minutes with them being backed up by a single guitar tone. It all evolved like a stabbed rat and the BPM gets turned up a notch around the 120 seconds mark, it's like we've been transported back to Manchester in the early 90's, it's a swirling mixture of Britpop tones and Grunge.
The track is comprised it seems of two different sides of Come at the King, but what this does is highlight that the band are aiming to be one of the big players on the music scene in their area - and with some of these riffs I'm sure they'll break beyond London and onto bigger stages too!
