Liverpool's Addley has recently released just only hit second-ever single, and it's an absolute stunner. "Are You Awake?" follows on from his debut "Where You Were", the previous cut saw him get playlisted by a selection of curators on Spotify - so pretty flipping good for his debut track.
Addley's intent has him on a trajectory to win over the hearts and ears potentially of the masses.

The new offering is very emotive and has this pulsating piano tone echoing all through it, giving the track this grand feel to give the listener an illusion that they're with Addley in the studio.
Vocally what we have is something raw and heart-on-your-sleeve with some hush tones that remind me partially of The XX in places.
Speaking about the track he mentions - "The track tells a story of forbidden feelings & faceless dating app profiles." With support from BBC Introducing, a plethora of publications both local and further afield it's very clear Addley's intent has him on a trajectory to win over hearts and ears potentinally of the masses.
