Off the back of their 2022 debut EP, "Hazy Sky", Black Pixels are back in 2023 and have unleashed their moody and vibrant new single, "Bodies". The new offering sounds like they've taken their own blend of sounds and have turned up the temperature a bit, it's a colourful and somber new cut that could quite easily be how they sound moving forwards.

The track is close to six minutes long but it doesn't take long at all to grip you as you're welcomed in with a cascading synthy noise and a commanding guitar tone. Vocally it's more of the same from Black Pixels, charming vocal yelps and vocals you can easily sing along to.
The chorus reminds me of Everything Everything with the rather darker alt-pop soundscape blended with the deep bass flowing through it. The outro feels like the band are unleashing themselves a bit, but it still adds to the wonder of "Bodies".
