Coming right out of Brooklyn in NY is Mooncult unveil hazy new tune "Ghost Song", and the song is the outfit's first since the release of their debut album "Swallow me Whole" back in 2020. If you're a fan of theirs then they've kept their signature shoegaze sound but have turned up the tempo a bit with the drumbeat and guitar tones also being higher.
With close to three years off from releasing music this is a great return, not to form, but beyond that - it sounds like Mooncult has levelled up!
Vocally this is somewhat psychy with perfectly hazed vocals ensuring that there's plenty of atmosphere to fill your ears up with. Instruemtnally the drummer is having a blast here, so frantic and non-stop I even wonder if this was all done in one take, I'd be tired if it was me!
