Hailing from Stockholm in Sweden is 22-year-old yesPer. and recently the singer-songwriter has unveiled his vocally charging and retro-tinted new tune, "Act Alright".
It's significantly to clear to hear that this song sits perfectly well in the 1980s throwback genre right off the bat with the warm and bouncy guitar mixed in with the wallowing synth. Vocally it's very charging and gives me some INXS and The 1975 vibes, especially in the choruses!
"Act Alright" has plenty of potential to be looped for hours on end, it's that addictive.
He has already found success with his previous cuts getting picked up by BBC Introducing and even getting plays on national radio in Sweden with his previous band IVES. With this being his debut single release it's nothing short of mesmerising and sensational, it's got all the feels, hits the spot just so and had me humming and bopping along by the end.
