Hailing from Allentown, PA is Ethan Russell with his incredibly soft and dreamy new single, "Blue". The new single is the singer-songwriter's second of 2023, but this time around it's arguably the biggest dream-pop tune of the two.
With some 80s sounding tones mixed into contemporary dream-pop techniques it's clear that Ethan is onto something magical.
The track really doesn't hang about and delves right into the deep end with dreamy bursts of electronic noises, acoustically charged guitars and of course Ethan's blissful vocals.
For me the track really comes to it's peak in the chorus, with a great BPM and tempo to the song I can easily see this being a winner in a live setting. It's the type of track that if you're a new listener of Ethan's then you'll easily become a fan of his by the time the track is over.
