Coming out of Charlottetown in Canada is Pearly Gates with their new tune, "No Horn to Blow". The new single from this Canadian quartet is also their fourth since they started releasing music back in 2022 and is a fine return to form.
"No Horn to Blow" is a fantastic single that I'm sure Pearly Gates will be playing for many years to come, it's so fun to listen to!
"No Horn to Blow" to me sounds like it's got a sizzling blend of jangly guitars and moody vocals, sort of like if The Beatles collaborated The Coral. The percussion to the song really adds a lot of depth here, and when you're focusing on it you can hear a smooth (and yet powerful) keyboard tone that brings the track down to earth.
In short "No Horn to Blow" is a fantastic single that I'm sure Pearly Gates will be playing for many years to come, it's so fun to listen to!
