Today see's The Fades release their new single, "Small Again", which is their third outing of the year and comes with yet another infectious mood. Even from the intro of the song I'm getting swagger, from The Strokes sounding guitars to the jangly tones I'm taken back to the early 2000s rock scene.
if you grew up with indie music in the 2000s then this new track from London's The Fades is for you!
Vocally it's solid with the lyrics very relatable and makes me think about the time in the 1990s when I didn't have a care in the world, well apart from mossing out on the latest Pokémon booster pack. The track for me sits in that nice little niche between indie-pop and surf-rock, with enough angular noises to get any late 2000s indie-kid interested.
If you grew up with indie music in the 2000s then this new track from London's The Fades is for you, and if you like this stuff then head to their Spotify for plenty more of the same.
