Melbourne's Cope & Drag today have released their grungy new tune, "Choose Life", which comes hot off the heels of their trailblazing single "Baby, ETC".
it's straight up frantic, thrilling with a jangly-grunge core.
The track leans heavily on a dark undertone pinning some quite haunting sounds throughout, reminding me of British act The Wytches for example. It's incredibly edgy and you can clearly hear that from the get-go, but one thing that is constant throughout the track is the tempo, it's nothing short of thrilling.
"Choose Life" immerses you in a haunting and captivating atmosphere from the few seconds which is near-on impossible to ignore. It's a raw and powerful and has certainly left an impression on us, but moving forward we will always remember how we felt when we heard this for the first tome - it's straight up frantic, thrilling with a jangly-grunge core.
