Darling Darling have today returned with their dreamy new single, "Conversation Pit", and it marks their first release since their first two singles dropped back in 2021. Released today via Honeymooner Records, it was mastered by Mick Morrison (The Rolling Stones, David Bowie, Florence and the Machine) and focuses a lot on the dreamy soundscapes the band has crated.
A dreamy and psychedelic soundscape.
Vocally it's deep, brooding and moody with tones that'll have you hooked onto every word, and when you combine that with those high-toned guitars heard in the background it. The smooth psychadelic sounds that swirl throughout the track is a delight too, and when all is said and done it'll leave a long-lasting impression on you, like it did with me - I just hope we don't wait two more years for the next tune!
Speaking about the new single the band says - " ... "Conversation Pit" depicts a debrief with your closest friends whilst inebriated solely by the moment itself. This song acts as a truth serum used only to get to the bottom of the most intimate feelings surrounding the possibility of absorbing life through the lens of self-acceptance. It exists within the context of the idea that you as a person are finally accepting love and you want to share that peace with those you hold dearest."
