Now clear of a million streams is New Zealand-based Tarn PK and he has celebrated it by dropping his exciting new single, "Papier-Mâché"
On the face of things this doesn't sound like your conventional alt-rock tune, but if you dig deep and tune your ears in you can hear that this definitely is. the song is dominated by Tarn PK's strong vocals and a (flipping) massive drumbeat that has enough power that it can do some serious damage to your speaker set-up.
A delightful mixture of distorted guitars and synths!
Speaking about the song he mentions - "Lyrically the song is reflective of a time in my life where I’d finished University and had to go into the big wide world and haven’t known where to go. It’s generally about feeling directionless and dealing with the pressure of making something of yourself in the face of 'achievement culture'. ... "
The song also features a sizzling collection of distorted guitars placed upon a smooth synth tone that really gives it depth. It may feel like I'm describing a recipe for a cook-book but what we have here is equally as tasty, so please do be sure to delve into Tarn PK's latest banger!
