The Glasgow-based duo, Empty Machines, have today released their brand new tune, "Velvet Sky", marking it as just their second release. The do-it-yourself band has a massive sound about them, almost suggesting they may be more than just a duo - I guess it's down to how well they've made the track.

Almost in an instant, the track is full of flavor, much like a Greggs pasty. Bold basslines are interwoven with an expansive drum that fills every crevasse of the atmosphere. Vocally it's both dreamy and surreal, with tones that lean into angelic and haunting.
Having had a national radio play already is a big achievement for them, so watch this space, with two amazing songs under their belt the sky is the limit for this noisy duo.
