Good Time Locomotive reveals the funky single, "Devils and Angels"

London duo Good Time Locomotive are back and on the weekend they revealed their new funky single, "Devils and Angels". The track kicks off with a very 80s sound synth and a drum pattern that Radiohead fans would absolutely love. The funky guitar blips into the track and it's there the funk becomes evident.

Funky bursts of guitar mixed in with darker sounds, we love it.

Vocally it's part Britpop and part Punk, the tones that are on show here are great for the track, not too in your face but enough to get the lyrics stuck inside of your head.

The breakdown in the track is fantastic too, and it's so lovely to see a band that can easily transition in and out of sub-genres with ease. Speaking about the track they say " ... "Devils and Angels" is an emotional roller coaster ride all about how we all need a guardian angel to help us navigate through this life sometimes, and how it helpless you can feel trying to help someone who's Devil is often louder than their Angel."

Their debut EP is out in early 2024, so if you like this then be sure to follow them on the social outlets and Spotify!
