Only a few months ago Prison Escapee dropped their new album, "Honey", but the itch for new music remained. Now they have unveiled their huge and atmospheric new track, "The Day Lennon Died".
The track is a massive atmospheric kaleidoscope of sounds.
Much like some other bands we've featured on here the track is a pureist's instrumental, without even a muttering of a word. The track focuses highly on several instruments to effectively substitute for them, but what that does mean is that "The Day Lennon Died" is one massive atmospheric kaleidoscope of sounds.
Hailing from Long Beach, CA Prison Escapee (aka Erik David Hidde) writes, records, produces, and mixes in his living room making him one of the few artists out there who does all of this to such a high level. With 11 albums being released since 2015 I'm sure Hidde could enter the history books as one of the hardest musicians in Long Beach.
