The track is upbeat and vibrant right from the outset, and you honestly need a hook with your debut track, it may be the first time for a lot of people to hear your music so you need that extra something to get people invested.
A fantastically paced debut track that'll definitely get you hooked on their sound.
Speaking about the track the band says - "Our single is about recognizing these spirits within us and the attempt to fight off these selfish thoughts. We sing to lead a supportive and positive lifestyle among others that are in the constant battle of negative thoughts."
It's part funk and part punk-rock with yelping vocals mixed with an urgent delivery, and from where I',m sitting it sounds like it would fit perfectly in the 80s and late 70s music scene.
The energy in "Windigo" is fantastic, and I can easily see this being one of their best tracks when they play live, the drive behind it and the charm it's got is so infectious. You'll certainly be pining for more music from Turtle Island
