One of the best things about being a new music discovery site is that you sometimes get to see bands go from sending you rough demos to releasing a polished debut album, and Camens is one of the few to go the mile (and more).
Fizzing indie-rock that sounds like it's been written for the big-stages.
The new cut is titled "Cynical" and showcases the fizzing tones that have brought the band to where they are today. It's powered by a driving vocal line by Scott and a scratching guitar line that can work its way deep into your core memories, it's strong, dominant, and laced with tones that can entice everyone to bounce/tap/stomp along to.
If there ever was a song by these guys that would be a set closer at their live shows this may be the one, as it gives you a huge taste in your mouth that'll have you wanting more. It could be possibly the end of Camens being the supporting band and potentially the beginning of the era when they'll be the ones touring to sold-out venues up and down the country.
If you made it this far you just have to follow them on the socials (and of course Spotify) so you won't miss a tune when the full album drops.
