void gf drops their debut single, "artificial lover"

We love a debut single here on It's All Indie, it's always a blank canvas for everyone as there is no expectation whatsoever, and especially when a 'demo' is released too.

... if you like experimental dark-pop sounds with hazy vocals then this is the cut for you.

Just a few days ago an emerging artist from Brooklyn, NY dropped their debut single, "artificial lover". The outfit is called void gf and they sound like they straddle the line between experimental pop (much like Grimes) and more pop-leaning dream-pop sounds.

Vocally it's laced in haze and gives the track this fog that seemingly rolls over the percussion, which is perfectly paced to help relax you down to a point where you'll be able to drift off.  Yes, it's a demo, but what this showcases is that void gf are at the point of their career where every release is special, and if you like experimental dark-pop sounds with hazy vocals then this is the cut for you.
